As both techniques are similar in procedure and end result, it can be difficult to know the difference and, more importantly, know which one is right for you.<\/p>\n

This is a question many of our clients come in with. There\u2019s information out there can be a bit confusing, so we simplified it for you!<\/p>\n

Essentially, both treatments are forms of permanent makeup used to enhance eyebrows and emulate real eyebrow hair. The difference is in the type of needle used.\u00a0 Microblading requires the use of a rigid needles in a blade shape; Whereas, Nanoblading (also known as nano-needling) uses flexible, ultra-sharp nano needles that can actually mimic the diameter and dimension of real hair in the skin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019s said that it\u2019s easier to get a good result from Nanoblading as there is less trauma to the skin. Since the artist can apply more accurate pressure and the pigment is finer than that used in Microblading, a more natural looking brow shape is created.<\/p>\n

Is after care any different? Not really. In the first seven days after getting your brows nanobladed, you should limit working out (as sweating, swimming and saunas and steam rooms can have a negative effect on your new brows) and avoid using soap, creams or make-up around your brow area too. This includes SPF, although it\u2019s important to protect your brows from the sun after that.<\/p>\n

How long does it last? As a result of the gap between the two sessions – to allow your brows to fully heal – you should have your perfect brows within eight weeks, but while the initial process is a lot longer than traditional waxing or tweezing the upkeep is minimal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
